Circus Number

VR Alentejano Red

The sweet taste of rebellion to create your own path is absolutely essential in life, but even the passionate need love and boundaries to find balance. Here, our "wild child" were three very powerful Portuguese grapes that we affectionately nurtured into elegance with soft tannins, and bright blueberry and violet aromas to pair with roasted red meats. Let us know if we succeeded!

The grapes of Circus Number come from the region with unimaginable prestige, having been recognized as one of the most colorful and admired sub-regions of the Alentejo, Redondo is home to many of the region’s most coveted wines.

To combat extreme high temperatures during summer we use grapes from higher parts refreshed by mountain winds. We also harvest earlier and as a result we make light yet powerful and energetic wines.
